We are in the middle of striking 1.25 million cuttings for next season, and are taking orders for 2009/10.
Cuttings are taken from healthy mother plants of named varieties which are true to form. Propagation is under polythene with supplementary light and heat when necessary, in 2cm plugs, trays of 273 (sold as 250). Once rooted the plugs are grown on under glass until they are of a substancial size, ready to pot up. Routine fungicides are used during propagation, and growing on. Trays of plugs are trimmed several times to create a bushy plant.
